Yemeni president agrees on opposition's conciliation initiative: official

SANAA, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh agreed on the five-point conciliation initiative offered earlier by the opposition coalition, a official source told state-run Saba news agency on Wednesday.

"President Saleh accepted the five-point conciliation initiative presented by the opposition earlier in order to end the political deadlock in the country and sent his approval through a mediator to the opposition Joint Meeting Parties," the official said.
